We recently spent three amazing weeks travelling through England, Wales and Scotland in a Rockin Vans VW Campervan. It was an epic few weeks and I can’t recommend travelling in a campervan through England enough. The flexibility of going where and when you want with a van is priceless and the converted vans by Rockin Vans have everything that you would want and need.
The VW Campervan has a leisure battery, which means we were able to camp anywhere whilst still drawing power, and we camped in some amazing places! You can use your 12v charging systems, fridge/freezer, lights, gas stove top and heating no matter where you are. One of the best things about this van in that the battery re-charges whilst you are driving. If you do want to though, you also have the electric hook up cable, which can be used when you have access to the mains like when you are on a campsite.
We saw some beautiful places in England including London, Bognor Regis, Brighton, Bath, Manchester, The Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, The Cottswolds and The Lake District.
I’m in the middle of putting together a long post with our full day-to-day itinerary as I have already had a few people ask how and where we spent the three weeks in our van. In the meantime, here is a photo journal from our time in England:
Please note: The Wild Hideaway travelled as partners of Rockin Vans, we spent three weeks testing out their VW Campervan and creating content for them. As always anything you read here is my personal and honest opinion.
