Photo Journal: Piccadilly Circus in London

Pretty much every city I have visited has had a main square with a shopping and entertainment district, but there are few that can compare to the excitement and craziness of Piccadilly Circus (except maybe Times Square in New York – you be the judge!).

Piccadilly Circus is the place that Londoners tell you to avoid because it is a busy tourist trap – so naturally as a typical tourist in London I just HAD to go.

The easiest and quickest way to the square is via the London Underground to Piccadilly Station – you can get here via the Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines. It’s also pretty easy to walk to Picadilly Square as several main streets lead there including Regent Street, Shaftesbury Avenue and Haymarket.
