Photo Journal: Exploring the canals of Venice, Italy

When I think of Venice I think of gondolas, canals, lovely little streets, narrow footbridges, colourful houses and good Italian food. The food here is delicious, from fresh pasta, traditional pizza and homemade gelato (you MUST get the gelato).

When you are in Venice you also have to check out the Piazza San Marco which is the main square in town. Here you will find the famous St Mark’s Basilica and the Venetian gothic style Doge’s Palace. Be sure to book a gondola ride and enjoy all this beautiful city has to offer from the water!
