A little life update – where in the world are we after visiting 22 countries this year?

Life update + high from our Bali-buzz

WOW have we had an amazing year so far! We have hit 22 countries in 2018 and I can’t wait to keep exploring. Starting in Fiji, going over to USA, exploring Europe and UK and most recently holidaying in Bali, I can honestly say it’s been our best year yet.

This week, we have just arrived in Auckland New Zealand (where Dave is from) and are staying with family for a few months. We thought it would be nice to spend Christmas here and be here for some big family events. Dave’s sister is having a baby in the new year and we have a handful of weddings to celebrate over the next few months – so basing ourselves here for awhile seemed like the best option. I can’t wait to explore more of New Zealand as each time I have been here we have just explored around Auckland and The Coromandel, so I’m in the process of planning a heap of little getaways.

I’m still high from the Bali-buzz and don’t want my holiday tan to fade – let’s hope the New Zealand summer brings lots of sun! Whilst here I’ll be doing a little bit of work but will still be taking time to explore. I’ve got a few small freelance marketing jobs I’ll be working on here and there to keep me busy.

Here’s some photos from our recent Bali holiday (I’ll share more in a full Bali post soon!):

For the next five months…

I’ll be sharing a tonne of posts on our travels this year and working on some travel round-up videos. Amidst all of this, we are planning an engagement party for January and need to find a spot to have our wedding! I’m super excited that some of my family will be coming to our engagement party in Auckland as I won’t have seen them for almost a year – it’s going to be amazing.

Stay tuned for more content coming your way – and as always reach out if you have any questions about locations we have visited.
