Glamping in Phillip Island

Last weekend it was my partner Dave’s birthday and I organised for us to go glamping in Phillip Island. We both had never been to Phillip Island so I was very excited to surprise him with this little getaway.

There’s not much that is better than sleeping under the stars by the beach. Let me tell you, it’s even better when someone else has pitched and styled your tent for you!

I booked our bell tent through Phillip Island Glamping. When we arrived you could see that everything was set up thoughtfully and beautifully (and I didn’t have to lift a finger!). There was a cute little welcome sign for us and extras such as magazines, card games, lighting, cutlery, cooking utensils, fresh flowers and a radio playing classical music. The tent was furnished in a modern, beach theme including throw rug, heater, cushions and a super comfy inflatable queen mattress with an electric blanket.

The location was perfect, nothing beats being able to wake up right on the beach to the sound of the waves, or enjoy a red wine on the beach while the sun sets.

Check out some of our photos from the weekend below:

I would highly recommend booking this for a weekend and getting away to Phillip Island, especially if you are looking at trying something different and switching off for a few days. It was quite affordable too, $140 per night for 2 people + the site camping fee.

Book your camp site here and they do the rest!
