We are very lucky in Melbourne that we don’t have to look too hard or trek too far to find really bloody great coffee. I’ve become a bit of a self-confessed coffee snob since moving to Melbourne four years ago, it’s hard not to get so immersed into the strong coffee culture that Melbourne offers!
Personally, I’m a cappuccino girl. There’s not too many things that can beat my morning coffee (and trust me when I say you don’t want to talk to me before I’ve had it).
So to keep you away from Gloria Jeans or any crappy coffee stands, I’ve put together a list of my top spots to get quality coffee in Melbourne. I’ve listed them below in no particular order.
My Top 8 Coffee Spots In Melbourne:
Patricia Coffee Brewers in the CBD (Little Bourke Street) – www.patriciacoffee.com.au
I only recently discovered Patricia’s and fell in love. The coffee here is really bloody great. If you’re planning a trip to Patricia’s it’s worth pointing out that it’s more of a “coffee bar” and has standing room only, there are a couple of crates set up that you can sit on in Little Bourke Street, otherwise it’s more of a grab your coffee and go type spot.
Code Black Coffee Roasters In Brunswick – www.codeblackcoffee.com.au
I’d say this is the best place to get coffee in Brunswick – the food is also super yummy. Think classic Brunswick hipster/grunge cafe.
